The emphasis is on seasonal, local produce where possible and is totally dependant on quality. Jake sources fish from the Solent, vegetables and fruit from nearby Hampshire family businesses and meat from Cumbria. Poultry, duck and guinea fowl are sourced from France.

All our food, from the breads and canapés to terrines, truffles and ice creams, are made in-house.


Choose from a set, two course menu at lunch for a remarkably low £19.50, Tuesday to Saturday or dinner £25.00 Tuesday to Thursday.

A menu with four choices per two courses is offered at lunch £28.50, dinner £38.50, a four choice dessert menu at £8.50.


An 5 course tasting menu is £40 at lunch and £50 at dinner. Each dish is a logical, well-composed progression of deceptively simple dishes.
